They are designed for use by residential customers looking for an efficient mowing machine with exceptional maneuverability and trimming capability. The new Z515E has a 24 HP V-Twin ELS John Deere engine that features an advanced filtration system for enhanced performance and long engine life. It has plenty of power to handle tough mowing conditions. The 60 in. (152 cm) Accel Deep Mower Deck delivers superior cut quality at higher mowing speeds and can be easily equipped to bag or mulch. The 18 in. cut and sewn seat with thick foam padding is built for superior ride comfort with armrests for extra support. The operator station has been designed for improved comfort, visibility and ease of use that includes an easy-to-read fuel gauge and hour meter. The standard foldable ROPS (Roll Over Protection Structure) and retractable seat belt on the Z515E work in conjunction to provide a protective zone around the operator.
